DairyGirl™ began in 2016 as a small, hands-on practice founded by Dr. Natasha Ghafoor — widely known across Pakistan’s dairy community as the “Dairy Girl of Pakistan.” What started as one woman working directly with farmers has since grown into a registered company, DairyGirl (SMC-Pvt) Ltd ®, built to serve the dairy industry on a larger scale without losing the personal, farm-level approach it started with.

Today, DairyGirl™ works closely with dairy farmers, organizations, and professionals to improve profitability and sustainability in livestock farming. Our services span dairy business planning, farm development and management, feeding and breeding strategy, herd health, biosecurity, and farm audits. Rather than applying generic templates, we go into real operations, identify what is actually holding a farm back, and bring practical, workable solutions to improve efficiency and profitability.

Capacity building remains central to what we do. Our programs reach farm management staff, grassroots dairy farmers, veterinary professionals, veterinary assistants, technicians and students. We take particular pride in mentoring women veterinarians and professionals, helping them build lasting careers in an industry where they are still underrepresented. We also partner with NGOs working toward community development and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, because a stronger dairy sector should lift the communities around it too.
